Jane Sibbett (born November 28, 1962) appeared as Diane Frost, a fugitive whom Dr. Samuel Beckett, in leaping into bountyhunter Gordon O'Reilly, must protect her from her former employer, who was swindling elderly people, which included her mother, out of a total of millions of dollars, and the town sheriff, who's on the take by her old boss, as she embezzeled back the money her boss swindled her mother out of, as Sam must transpprt her back to jail in the Season Three episode of Quantum Leap titled "A Hunting We Will Go".

Jane started her Hollywood acting career as Jane Wilson on the NBC-TV soap opera series Santa Barbara in 1986-87, being nominated for a Best Newcomer award. guest TV show appearances include the role of Heddy Newman on the FOX-TV sitcom series Herman's Head,[1] which gained a cult following for the then fledling broadcast network and lasted three seasons, and as Ross' ex-wife, Carol Willick, on NBC's Friends, a part-time stint that lasted until the end of the show's seventh season in 2001. the young broadcast network and lasted three seasons. Jane has appeared in more than 200 episodes of multiple TV series, including Quantum Leap, 21 Jump Street and The Nanny.

Jane also co-starred with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in the 1995 film It Takes Two, and also, was the voice of Joy in the 1992 movie Charlotte's Web. which quickly gained a cult following on the young broadcast network and lasted three seasons. Beginning in 1994, she played the occasional role of Carol Willick on Friends During her Friends association, Sibbett had regular roles on the short-lived CBS sitcom If Not for You (1995), playing the jilted fiancée of her former Herman's Head co-star Hank Azaria, and in the second season of The WB's Freno: Licensed Teacher (1997–98), playing school headmaster Dr. Katherine Emerson.
