Ghost Ship was the 16th episode of Season 4 of the Quantum Leap TV series, also the 69th overall episode in the series. Directed by Anita W. Addison and written by series creator Donald P. Bellisario, the episode originally aired on NBC-TV on March 4, 1992.

Summary[]

Sam leaps into Eddie Brackett (played by Mark McPherson), a co-pilot of an air taxi that is transporting two young newlyweds, Grant Cutter, Jr. (Kurt Deutsch) and his wife Michelle (Carla Gugino) is very sick with appendicitis. Eddie, a relatively inexperienced pilot aboard a private airplane which is en route to Bermuda. The plane is owned by Grant Cutter, Sr., a wealthy tycoon whose son, Grant, Jr. and new bride were going on their honeymoon.

But that's the least of his worries when the plane flies into the Bermuda Triangle, and he loses contact with Al and Quantum Leap. The pilot, Capt. Cooper (Scott Hoxby) a Navy pilot who once had a previous experience in the Bermuda Triangle and is still suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, which makes Sam's task a difficult one. His first attempt at keeping them on course could, according to Al, who listened to the odds of survival from Ziggy, result in all of them dying, but, as the instruments begin to fail, Sam presses on.
